No Churn Ice Cream

No Churn Ice Cream with Oreos and Hot Fudge

It’s heating up here in the Pacific Northwest so what better time for some ice cream? Especially no churn ice cream that doesn’t require an ice cream maker! This recipe is quick, easy, delicious, and you can put whatever add ins you want. Pictured I used hot fudge and crushed Oreos. So yummy! You can also use fruit, caramel, candy, whatever makes you happy!

No Churn Ice Cream

All you need is 3 simple ingredients that you may already have on hand! Just sweetened condensed milk, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract. I like to layer the add ins to make sure each scoop is full of goodness. I hope this brings you lots of joy this summer or anytime of year because, let’s be honest, ice cream is always on the menu!

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Bake Time: 4-6 hours | Total Time: 4-6 hours

Ingredients

  • 1 14oz Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Put a large mixing bowl in the freezer for 10-15 minutes (a chilled bowl makes it easier to whip the cream).
  • Mix sweetened condensed milk and vanilla in a bowl.
  • Add heavy whipping cream to the chilled mixing bowl and whip until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk.
  • Add half the mixture into a freezer safe container and put half your add ins. Layer the remaining mixture on top and then top with leftover add ins.
  • Cover and put in freezer for at least 4-6 hours (over night if possible)
  • Enjoy!

Tips and Tricks

  • Whipped Cream- When folding the whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk be sure not too over mix so the whipped cream doesn’t become runny.

  • Add-Ins- Have fun with them! You can really use whatever you want. Definitely layer the add ins so each bite is full of deliciousness!

  • Freezing Time- I highly recommend letting this freeze over night to really firm up. But if you’re just too excited try to at least make it to the 6 hour mark!
